This Note demonstrates how the utility thdump.exe, can be used to capture a Java JVM stack dump from the Webcenter Content java process on Microsoft Windows.
The utility is similar in purpose to the using the "kill" command on a UNIX system to send a SIGQUIT signal (3) to the running JVM and works in the same way as pressing CTRL-BREAK in a command prompt window where a java program is running the foreground.
Please see original Note on this subject here: How to Capture a Java Stack Dump on the Windows Platform [Doc ID 437464.1]
Note: Essentially this can be used on Windows, with any running Java Process!
