Unable to Update Imaging Index Field Values Within EBS Integration and Error "TCM-00787 REPOSITORY_ERROR" is Received (Doc ID 1547147.1)

Symptoms

When processing an invoice through to EBS via the BPEL process, the InvoiceSynchronization is faulting when attempting to update the index values for the invoice image. The following error message is in the BPEL fault:

Instance Error:
  TCM-00787 REPOSITORY_ERROR
  Unable to retrieve information for 'IPM_004956'. Unable to find latest revision for item '[Document ID]'.
  A repository error occurred.

Error in the SOA Diagnostic Log:
