Symptoms

 Symptom 1

Try to start ORACLE_INSTANCE/bin/frmbld.sh on LINUX 6 and the following error occurs ->

 

A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment:
#
#  SIGSEGV (0xb) at pc=0x00007fd20f925f68, pid=12726, tid=140540141369152
#
# JRE version: 6.0_24-b50
# Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (19.1-b02 mixed mode linux-amd64
compressed oops)
# Problematic frame:
# C  [libclntsh.so.11.1+0xee6f68]  __intel_new_memcpy+0x14e8

 

 Symptom 2


Trying to start frmbld.sh, frmcmp.sh or rwbuilder.sh from ORACLE_INSTANCE/bin results in errors similar to the following:

Error message:
error while loading shared libraries: libXm.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

File does exist:
$ORACLE_HOME/Oracle_FRHome1/lib/stubs/libXm.so.3

 Or

!!! WARNING !!! --> libXm-2.3.4-stub.so

This is a stub library which can be used for linking only.  It must *not*
be used as a runtime library.  Please make sure this library is not found
in LD_LIBRARY_PATH.
