SOA 11g Enterprise Deployment: Setting up Node Manager (Doc ID 1548827.1)

Purpose

We will configure the Node Manager on all machines for the soaedg_domain created in previous steps for our enterprise environment following the Enterprise Deployment Guide (EDG) for SOA 11g.

 Change Log File Location for the Node Managers
 Create Self-signed Certificates for the Node Managers
 Create the Certificates for all Server Names and VIPs Using Fully Qualified Names
 Generate an Identity Keystore
 Import all Certificates into the Identity Keystore Using Different Aliases
 Copy the Standard java Trust Keystore
 Change the Default Password
 Import the CertGenCA.der to the Trust Store
 Change nodemanager.properties to use the Keystores Created
 Create Customized Start Scripts for the Node Managers on Each Node
 Configure the WebLogic Servers (Admin and Managed Servers) to use the Keystores
 Configure SSL for Each Server
 Restart all Servers
 Health Checks / Verifications
