Is There A Branching Concept In Webcenter Content? (Doc ID 1552483.1)

Symptoms

We have an existing webpage that is live on our website. We need to completely change the content of that file for a Site Studio project. We have a three tier system in which we can make edits:

1) Development/contribution
2) Test
3) Production

 

We start making edits in our development/contribution  environment in 11g. We only have one entry/contribution environment where we make edits. Users can’t make edits in the Test or Production environment. Halfway through the project, we need to make edits to that same page that is already live. How do you suggest we keep our project edits, but launch the edits to the live page, as it exists in production?  Is there an merge option available?
