Is it possible to configure the search page to display an integer field like a text type field instead of "From and To" range? (Doc ID 1553260.1)

After creating a custom option list with a type of integer with the following sample details below:

field name : Gender
table name : Gender (two columns; Name and ID )

Name | ID
male | 1
female | 2

view name : Gender_view (display value is Name and the internal is ID)

The check-in profile has an option list for the Gender field has "Female/Male". But in the standard search, this same option list appears as "From and To".

Is it possible to configure the search page to display the above integer field as it is displayed in the Check in page?
