After Configuring OAM for SSO with WebCenter Spaces Logout No Longer Works (Doc ID 1553613.1)

Symptoms

After configuring Oracle Access Manager (OAM) for Single Sign-On (SSO) with WebCenter Spaces, logout no longer works.
When clicking on logout then the current page gets refreshed but the user is still logged on.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Configure OAM as SSO for WebCenter Spaces as per the following documentation above referenced.
  2. Login to Spaces.
  3. Click on the Logout link.
    Notice that the page refreshes but the user is still logged in.
