The following error occurs when you are using OPatch to apply a one-off patch to an Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Release 1 (220.127.116.11.0) installation:
Jar Action: Destination File
<file_name> does not exists or is not writeable
<package_name>, 18.104.22.168.0: Cannot update file
This failure may happen in any Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g (22.214.171.124) installed home, where oracle_common exists. It may happen with any one-off patch, depending on which files need to be updated. Below is an error stack for an Oracle Enterprise Manager Fusion Middleware Control (fmwc) patch:
- Installed Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Release 1 (126.96.36.199.0) or applied Patch Set 6 (188.8.131.52.0) to an existing installation.
- Installed Oracle Forms & Reports 11g Release 2 (184.108.40.206.0) or applied Patch Set 2 (220.127.116.11.0 to an existing installation.
