Goal

How to setup the Global Inactivity Timeout (GITO) in Oracle Access Manager 11.1.2.1 and use it in Fusion Middleware 11.1.1.7 with Oracle Portal 11.1.1.6.

These instructions can be applied to Fusion Middleware 11.1.1.6 with Oracle Portal 11.1.1.6 as well. This setup is not supported however as OAM 11.1.2.1 has been certified with Oracle Portal 11.1.1.6 only when the Fusion Middleware 11.1.1.7 patch set has been applied.
