Last updated on MARCH 04, 2019
Applies to:
Oracle TopLink - Version 11.1.1.4.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
affects usage of Toplink Grid, i.e. context when Toplink entities are put into Coherence cache
Symptoms
An Entity Trade has the following element collection (attribute name)
The Map is having Language as a key which is an entity.
As ElementCollection collection does not have its own cache, so read/writeExternal methods have been added in order to put the map to the cache.
Therefore, the Language entity is stored in Trade cache, and the Language entity will be also stored in cache as ElementCollection of the Trade entity.
Finally, Language entity is stored in the cache redundantly.
