Relative Path in XSD Import Fails in WSDL for WebLogic Web Services (Doc ID 1570265.1)

Symptoms

The issue is related to the processing of imports in WSDL and XSD files when using relative paths.

The web service application was developed and working on WebLogic 9.2. Now they are attempting migration on WebLogic 10.3.3 or above version. The web services are created from WSDL using "wsdlc". The local file is located in a folder at the same level as WEB-INF. At the same level it is also the "schemas" folder that contains all the schemas used in the project. All WSDL and XSD files have imports and the imports are relative to that directory.
