A Siebel instance is installed on a IBM AIX OS server and the EDQ Siebel Connector is being installed on the same server.

Symptoms

After installing the Enterprise Data Quality (EDQ) Siebel Connector and running a cleansing job the records are not being cleansed. The following error is seen in the Siebel connector logs (note that this error is produced AFTER setting the property 'failsafe' to 'false' in dnd.properties):
