Symptoms

While developing a Spring Portlet MVC Portlet (JSR 286 spring portlet) and while registering the portlet in WebCenter Spaces, facing Remote Portlet Error:

javax.servlet.ServletException: javax.portlet.PortletException: javax.servlet.ServletException: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/servlet/jsp/jstl/core/Config

The version of Spring is 2.5 and JSTL 1.2 version.
