(Doc ID 1574928.1)
Last updated on MAY 30, 2024
Applies to:
Oracle HTTP Server - Version 11.1.1.7.0 to 12.1.3.0.0 [Release Oracle11g to 12c]All Platforms
Symptoms
After using dadtool.pl script to encrypt dads.conf passwords, access to the applications is requesting to provide credentials even when storing in the dads.conf for automatic authentication.
Encrypt the password in dads.conf by executing command:
perl dadTool.pl -f <ORACLE_INSTANCE/config/OHS/ohs1/mod_plsql/dads.conf
When accessing the application, it should run without asking for credentials to be provided.
Changes
