Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In normal case where we only have Oracle Tuxedo without Oracle Tuxedo System and Applications Monitor (TSAM) installed. Tuxedo is perform very well the CPU utilization on Tuxedo server is about 90-95%.

But if TSAM Manager is running and the LMS server deployed against a wide Tuxedo application where TSAM Monitoring Policy(ies) to gather information for all service requests had been enabled ath the end most of the WSH/GWWS requests would be stucked (and finally failed with timeout) .

In the TSAM context, the tmadmin is also running very slowly and the CPU utilization in this case drop to less than 10%.
