Symptoms

On : 11.2.1.0.6 version, 1 - Oracle DB backend

In: GGSCI
When attempting to REGISTER an EXTRACT,
the following error occurs.

ERROR

2013-07-18 17:45:42 ERROR OGG-01755 Cannot register or unregister EXTRACT EXT01 because of the following SQL error: OCI Error 26,655. See Extract user privileges in the Oracle GoldenGate for Oracle Installation and Setup Guide.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. dblogin userid <gguser>, password <pwd>
  2. register extract ext01 database
