After DeSelecting (Uncheck or Untick) the Subspaces Security Setting, Why is it Not Possible to Re-Select (Tick or Check) ? (Doc ID 1576261.1)

In Sub Space page setting page (On the General page, under Space Options), there is a checkbox "Inherit Security From Parent".
The Security Setting check box is used to specify that the subspace should not inherit security settings from the parent space.

After this is deselected, this attribute becomes inactive and cannot be re-selected (or Checked, Ticked). Why?
