Deployment Fails With Timeout Because Of File Locks On .nfs* Files (Doc ID 1577775.1)

Symptoms

When the Weblogic Server domain folder is located on a mounted NFS file system, applications do not respond intermittently after the old version of the application had been un-deployed and the new version of the application had been deployed.

WebLogic Server Admin Console reports the application state as "Prepared."

A re-deployment fails with timeout.

If such problem occurs files like the following show up on the NFS share:
