Remote Connection To Remote Server Via CSDT Fails (Doc ID 1580189.1)

When trying to connect to a remote WebCenter Sites via CSDT there red dot never becomes green.
It is possible to connect to the server via the browser.
Also able to get the following response to the casInfo url http://[SERVERNAME]:41901/cs/Satellite?pagename=fatwire/wem/sso/casInfo
"cas http://[SERVERNAME]:41901/cas http://[SERVERNAME]/cas/v1/tickets ticket multiticket false com.fatwire.wem.sso.cas.CASProvider com.fatwire.wem.sso.cas.conf.CASConfig"
