EUS integration fails to authenticate with "KZLD_ERR: 32" (Doc ID 1581667.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 30, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Virtual Directory - Version 11.1.1.2.0 to 11.1.1.9.0 [Release 11g]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When attempting to use an EUS setup, the following error occurs in the DB:

5. Also checked the ldap_directory_access parameter in the DB to verify that it is set to 'password', which it is.

6. In summary, we have checked all of the DB side pieces of this EUS setup and all of them are correct and have the correct domain of 'dc=eusovd,dc=com' specified.

7. We have also verified that the DB is authenticating to OVD using the 'cn=<ALIAS>,cn=OracleContext,dc=<OVD_DOMAIN>,dc=com' DN.

8. What we don't know is why the 'dc=<OVD_DOMAIN>' domain is being switched to 'dc=<COMPANY>' after the DB authenticates to OVD.

Changes

Registered in the DB to a different naming context.
