WCC Imaging Viewer is not rendering an Image and WCC Log Displays Error "csPathSegmentContainsIllegalCharacter"

Symptoms
When trying to view WCC Imaging documents, the viewer keeps saying it is rendering the image but never display the images.
The WCC Imaging logs show the following error:
