Last updated on MARCH 15, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Portal - Version 11.1.1.6.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In Fusion Apps WebCenter Space

1. The Moderator posts an announcement in Space 1, it appears on the Activity Stream in Space 2 for Members of Space 1 who have selected to see activities from "All Spaces".

2. The Member of Space 1 shares that announcement in Space 2.

3. Other users of Space 2 see the shared announcement, with hyperlink to view it.

4. If users (of Space 2) have access to Space 1, the hyperlink displays the announcement. If users (of Space 2) are not members of Space 1, when the link is accessed, "Page Not Found" error is reported.

Expected Behaviour

If the user does not have access to a page ("Space 1" in this case), the correct message to display is "You do not have access...." instead of "Page Not Found".
