Goal
Loss of functionality - Encrypted attributes decryption broken after SSL certificate renewal.
The sequence of events

Upon renewing SSL certificate for an instance containing encrypted attributes, the decryption of those attributes was found to be broken. The SSL certificate renewal procedure worked without issues except for the now corrupted encrypted attributes.
