Metadata Updates To Items In Workflow Are Not Reflected In A Folio Node (Doc ID 1593971.1)

You are using Folios, and add an item via check-in. If a workflow participant changes any metadata for that item, the changes will not be reflected in that folio node. Once the item exits the workflow, however, the changes are visible. Why does this occur?
