The Otype Field In The Assetrelationtree Table Is Varchar 28 When It Should Be Varchar 32 (Doc ID 1598581.1)

Last updated on MARCH 14, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Sites - Version 11.1.1.6.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Out-of-the-box in the assetrelationtree table the otype field is defined as varchar 28.  However in the assettype table the assettype field is defined as varchar 32.

If an assettype name is actually 32 chars, then it would be a problem inserting a record into the assetrelationtree with this assettype as the otype field is not large enough to accommodate 32 chars.
