Mobile App on iOS Cannot Connect to WCC Server When Running OHS Proxy (Doc ID 1599635.1)

Symptoms

You have WCC 11.1.1.8 with Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) running in front as a proxy. You find that using the Android app, you can connect successfully to WCC using http://hostname, but doing so via the iOS app fails with "Cannot connect to server". Using http://hostname:16200 works, however.
