Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In the User Admin applet the Default Account set for a users is removed when any account is deleted from the user.

To reproduce the error on a 11.1.1.7 system:
A test user exists in Weblogic. Security Realms > My Realm > Users and Groups
User Name: User5
Provider: Default Authenticator
Groups: contributor

The user must be local or global.
Change the user from External to Local.

Launch the User Admin applet > Select user > Edit > Accounts > the values are:
[documents without accounts] RWDA
[all accounts] RWDA
TestAccount1 R
TestAccount2 RW
TestAccount3 RWD
TestAccount4 RWDA
Default Account=TestAccount4
Ok

Log in as the user5 and validate the profile has:
Roles: contributor, guest, authenticated
Accounts: #all, #non, TestAccount1, TestAccount2, TestAccount3, TestAccount4

Go back to the User Admin applet.
Select the [all accounts] > Delete.
The Default Account stayed as TestAccount4.
Click OK.
Go back to edit the user and the Default Account value is empty.

If editing many accounts this causes a lot of work where the default account has to be added back.
