Symptoms

"asadmin validate-multicast" command fails with the error, "Unexpected exception occurred: java.net.SocketException: bad argument for IP_MULTICAST_IF"

Running the "asadmin validate-multicast" command with the --bindaddress, --multicastaddress, and --multicastport options also fail with the same error.
