Purpose
The goal of this article is to illustrate Entrerprise User Security (EUS) usage using Oracle Unified Directory (OUD) proxy with Active Directory (AD) to connect to the Oracle Database.
AD users will be able to connect Oracle Database(through OUD Proxy) either:
- Directly, as usual AD user (with relevant role mapping in Oracle Database of AD users)
- or through a proxy user, as a usual user (with relevant mapping of AD users with the proxy user)
A Global role in the Oracle Database is created HR_ACCESS.
AD users are granted HR_ACCESS privileges through this global role.
