Unable To Browse Folders/Libraries Using the WebCenter Content Mobile App for iOS/Android (Doc ID 1606506.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to browse libraries/folders from the WebCenter Content Mobile App for iOS / Android, the following error is displayed:

"The request was not processed by the Service handler because of a protocol error"

The following exception is displayed in the logs:
