How to get the following configured in OVD ?

Use case:
4 LDAP servers which are to be integrated with OVD. Need to have 2 adapters with active - passive mode.

OVD <ADAPTER1> - connected to LDAP servers A and B
OVD <ADAPTER2> - connected to LDAP servers C and D

<ADAPTER1> should be in active mode and <ADAPTER2> in passive mode.

if both backend LDAP servers A and B go down, then <ADAPTER1> should go to passive mode and <ADAPTER2> should switch to active mode.
