Symptoms

In Oracle Fusion Middleware 11.1.1.x, while using an external Oracle Internet Directory authentication provider, the roles created in OID are not listed in the Policy Manager.

The steps followed are:

1. In the EM control, click on the Domain --> Web Services --> Policies.

2. Select the OWSM policy Oracle/binding_authorization_permitall_policy.

3. Click on Create Like button; once there, scroll down to Roles section and chose the "selected roles".

4. When the window appears, click on plus sign to add a role.  Querying the roles will not display the expected information.
