Symptoms
APEX is working on https://servername.abc.com/pls/apex/
Another server has been configured to run against the same APEX instance: http://newserver.abc.com/pls/apex
When running http://newserver.abc.com/pls/apex/apex_admin/ no error is presented on the login page a and the URL in the browser is something like:
Other information
- Applications within the instance run without error on the new server.
- If an invalid password is entered the users see the expected "Invalid Credentials" message for the APEX administration and development environment.

Configuring a new web server to run against an existing instance of APEX. The current web server runs with the HTTPS protocol.
