IAM-7130123 and ORA-20000 Errors Seen With Catalog Search Not Working (Doc ID 1612970.1)

Purpose

Issue: Catalog search is not working and following errors/symptoms are noticed.

  •         IAM-7130123: The search is not available at this time due to text index maintenance. Check with your Administrator.
  •         java.sql.SQLException: ORA-20000: Oracle Text error: DRG-10599: column is not indexed. Oracle Text Index CAT_TAGS in OIM schema is corrupted

Note: This issue can also be seen if the database was cloned.

Cause: Oracle Text Index CAT_TAGS that supports OIM’s catalog search is either missing or invalid.
