ODI Standalone and J2EE Agents Do Not Return Data when Oracle Database Context (SYS_CONTEXT) Is Used (Doc ID 1618599.1)

Symptoms

Starting with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 11.1.1.7.0, retrieving an Oracle database Context value (SYS_CONTEXT) using a standalone or J2EE Agent returns null (blank).

However, when the SYS_CONTEXT is executed from ODI Studio using the Local (No Agent), the returned value is correct.

The value is also correct when using SYS_CONTEXT in SQL*Plus. The following command returns the value of MyParameter associated with the MyNamespace Context:
