The GIT WebDav client is unable to use the Oracle iPlanet Web Server webdav repository due to error when using authentication.

The following is logged in the errors log and a 400 'Bad Response' code is returned:

The issue has been observed on GIT client versions 1.7.10 and later. Earlier versions don't appear to exhibit this issue.
