Is it Possible for Document Security (ACL's) to be Applied to Subscription Notifications? (Doc ID 1626444.1)

Goal

After ACL security is applied to an content item, user's that had subscribed to the item previously, will still recieve email subscription emails even though they no longer have access to the content item due to ACL security. 

Is it possible for document security (ACL's) to be applied to Subscription Notifications?
