Unable to define a new public vLAN in Exalogic 2.0.6.0.0 virtual environment, if the Gateway Switch is not discovered properly (Doc ID 1628758.1)

Symptoms

There are situations when you try to create a public vLAN through EMOC (Enterprise Manager Ops Center) and it fails with the errors.

Below is error snippet from job logs:

Changes

The situation can arise, in scenarios when the password of the Gateway Switches are changed /root user / ilom-admin user. In that scenario, the password should be updated in the credentials mapping of EMOC, so that it can connect to the switches properly.

There may be a situation where EMOC is unable to connect to the the switches and ending up throwing the Null Pointer exceptions.
