When attempting to launch an Oracle Data integrator (ODI) 11g Standalone Agent on a Unix system with the following syntax the following  error messages are encountered:

ODI-10143: Error while accessing the WORK repository.
javax.naming.NameNotFoundException; remaining name 'jdbc/odiWorkRepository'
2014-02-20 12:38:12.369 NOTIFICATION 2007 Retrying to compute schedules for work repositories [<WORKREP>]
2014-02-20 12:38:12.497 NOTIFICATION Ignoring DataSource customization because provider class was not DriverManagerDataSourceProvider
2014-02-20 12:38:12.499 WARNING 2006 Error occurred while computing schedules for work repository [<WORKREP>].

Error message : ODI-10181: Uncategorized configuration exception.
ODI-10143: Error while accessing the WORK repository.

      javax.naming.NameNotFoundException; remaining name 'jdbc/odiWorkRepository'

2014-02-20 12:38:12.500 INCIDENT_ERROR ODI-1131 Agent <AGENT> encountered an error: ODI-1428: internal error Caused by: ODI-10181: Uncategorized  configuration exception.
