Contents of Cache When Caching is Enabled for a Non-default LDAP on WebLogic Server (Doc ID 1633845.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 12, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle WebLogic Server - Version 9.2.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When securing a Web Service with an OWSM policy using WS-Security Username Tokens, a Microsoft Active Directory is used as a non-default LDAP provider. Caching is enabled in the provider configuration.

However, it was noticed that there is an LDAP bind for each and every web service request containing a Username token.

So, the main question is to find what is cached.
