WebCenter Portal Page HTML Exceptions To Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0)

When using third-party tools to validate Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) compliance regarding WebCenter Portal-generated HTML, there are two particular common situations where violations are reported. One is regarding HTML anchor tags generated by the Content Presenter taskflow and another is regarding HTML table tags generated by various ADF tags within page templates and ADF components.
With Content Presenter, third-party validation tools often refer to a scenario where an anchor contains no text. Here is an example:
With HTML table tags generated by ADF tags and ADF components, third-party validation tools often refer to a scenario where ADF-generated HTML table tags do not contain summary values. Here is an example:
In addition, third-party validation tools may also complain that ADF-generated HTML tables may not contain header rows (<th> tags).
