After Changing the ODSSM Password, OID/DIP 11g Log Shows Error: weblogic.common.ResourceException: Could not create pool connection. The DBMS driver exception was: ORA-28000: the account is locked (Doc ID 1646303.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 11g, being monitored by Enterprise Manager - EM12c (Grid Agent).

After the ODSSM password was changed at Oracle Datatabase (DB), the following log error occurs related to data source 'schedulerDS' which is used for the Directory Integration Platform (DIP) application (responsible for OID synchronization and provisioning):
