Purpose

 

The Forms Listener can fail while trying to respond to high number of 
simultaneous requests. In this document a method to run more than one 
forms listeners and distribute the requests evenly among them is proposed.

Scope

 

This document can be used while configuring a very large system that employs
Forms Listener. For such large systems there can be more than one application
server machine to provide faster response times and a network switch that 
distributes the requests among the server. The proposal also applies to 
such environment.
