Goal

What is the differences between the Record Expiration Date in URM and the Expiration Date in UCM/WCC and are they linked?.

What does the "Expire" disposition action take in relation to these dates?

For example, It is my understanding that when the Expiration Date is reached in UCM, the document is "de-indexed" and no longer visible in a search. However, if a record is expired using the disposition action is it just expired as a record but not expired as a document? If so, is any other action taken such as removing from the retention category? I think it is also obsoleted but I am not sure if that is just a status or if other restrictions apply.
