Unable to install Weblogic Error " At least one product or component must be selected " (Doc ID 1667795.1)

Oracle WebLogic Server - Version 10.3.6 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Unable to do a fresh installation of Weblogic Server.

Select the default Middleware Home as shown above.

Weblogic Server component is greyed out in the next screen.

If you continue with the installation you get an error message that at least one product has to be selected.

Renamed the existing middleware folder and trying to do a fresh installation and the GUI throws the following error :

" At least one product or component must be selected ".

Checkbox for Weblogic server in " Choose Products and Components " is greyed out.
