Using Site Studio Contributor to Access Content Server for Alternate Actions Creates Failures (Doc ID 1670574.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 07, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Content - Version 11.1.1.6.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Navigating to the Content Server interface through Site Studio Contributor (like through a WYSIWYG dialog), and performing an activity or action not explicitly expected in that interface, (e.g. content item check-in, unrelated to original activity or action) throws a service exception, the service exception is not displayed however.  Instead users see: "Network message format error. GET request must have a QUERY_STRING value (the CGI parameters on the URL)".
