Oracle Access Manager 11g R2PS2 (OAM 11.1.2.2): Character "#" in URL Causing Stripping in Context of Protected Resource (Doc ID 1672696.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 19, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Access Manager - Version 11.1.2.2.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

If a # character is defined in the URL of a protected resource, it appears that OAM removes the
content of the URL from the # onward.

For example, if the url being sent is  http://<FQ_HOSTNAME>:<PORT>/<PROTECTED_URL>/#/region

then after login is successful, the user is redirected to http://<FQ_HOSTNAME>:<PORT>/<PROTECTED_URL>
