Oracle Coherence 3.7.1.11+ and 12.1.2.0.1+ have been hardened against truncated packets, see , which is an issue that has been seen in the past on storage-enabled cluster members that are being migrated to another physical host while the storage node is an active member of the cluster.

Symptoms

Data loss due to unexpected member departures.

Changes

 VMotion is used to move a running virtual machine that is hosting an active storage-enabled Coherence node from one physical server to another.
