Multiple Oracle Virtual Directory (OVD) adapters configured.

Each adapter configured with one host each.

Each Adapter/host presenting data from a different back-end ldap server.

When one server is unreachable (e.g is down and can't be pinged), then all ldap searches against ovd exhibit 15 seconds response time.
