Oracle HTTP Sever is Not Started Once Killed Using Process ID (Doc ID 1675049.1)

Oracle HTTP Server - Version 12.1.2.0.0 and later
Linux x86-64

Symptoms

Oracle HTTP Server does not get restarted when killed using "kill -9 <process_id>", if StateCheckInterval is too small like to default "StateCheckInterval=500" in nodemanager.properties.

On killing OHS process ID, the below error is seen in nodemanager.log file

 

Changes

After Installing and Configuring Oracle HTTP Server 12c or OMS 13c, if StateCheckInterval is too small like to default "StateCheckInterval=500" in nodemanager.properties
